We stayed at the Royal Sonesta NO., in June 2010. It was sure hot in New Orleans that time of year, but the A/C in the hotel worked so well we turned it down. We stayed in a room in the R Club. It was a wonderful experience. Between the larger room size, the turn down service with the best staff ever (they folded anything that way laying around and placed it neatly on a chair etc). The breakfast was included in the R club, which was served in a lovely room that looked like a livingroom in a magazine decorated with antique furniture, a fireplace, and a balcony with tables. The staff in the entire hotel where friendly and helpful. We have visited New Orleans yearly now for the past 6 years. I have stayed in a few of the 4/5 star hotels, and this is definately my favourite. We plan onb staying there again this year when we go.
