The Hotel is 7 stories high and built in traditional French Quarter style, complete with gabled windows, French doors and wrought-iron lace balconies. All 500 rooms (including 35 suites) offer a view of the French Quarter or the Courtyard. Each have mini bar, individual climate control, color TV, radio, and state-of-the-art telephone systems with voice mail, dataport and conference call features. The Tower Floor on the 7th level has 30 rooms and 4 suites with private elevators, concierge and special amenities.

The Royal Sonesta offers 35 luxurious suites, including a honeymoon Jacuzzi suite and the distinctive Presidential and Royal suites. Lace wrought-iron balconies allow guests to enjoy the charm of Bourbon Street.
